As a Food Expeditor, you’re the maestro orchestrating a flawless dance between the kitchen and the dining room. You make sure every plate is picture-perfect, garnished just right, and ready to wow guests—no smudges or spills allowed! It’s all about keeping the food flowing and the customers smiling. 

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Orchestra: Manage the seamless flow of orders from waitstaff to kitchen, prioritizing plates and ensuring every dish gets VIP treatment. 
• Presentation Pro: Double-check meals for accuracy, presentation, and temperature, making sure each plate is ready to impress guests. 
• Service Speedster: Deliver dishes quickly, eliminate service obstacles, and support a fast-paced dining experience from prep to plate. 
• Quality Guardian: Uphold Aimbridge Hospitality standards by inspecting premises for cleanliness, assisting with sanitation, and handling certifications like Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers. 
• Communication Champion: Relay important info between kitchen and staff, handle special requests, resolve guest complaints, and assist with tasks like telephone orders to keep everything running smoothly. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, with proven experience as a food expediter or in a related restaurant role. 
• Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers certifications required in accordance with state regulations. 
• Strong communication skills, ability to convey information clearly, and experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. 
• Knowledge of health and safety rules, dexterity in handling kitchen equipment, and physical stamina to stay in constant motion. 
• Outstanding coordination, multi-tasking skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
